Power Point Tutorial II
In this second part of the power point tutorial, it will be dealing with learning how to add effects to a presentation and format pictures. By formatting a picture, the slide will appear more attractive and depending on the audience it will make them buy certain products like kids seeing a picture of a GI Joe action figure. To format a picture simply click the picture and in the formatting palette under quick styles and effects it is possible to choose how the picture will appear on the slide like slanted left or right, square or circle. Adding effects such as sound to the font and pictures when they begin to appear on the slide can make the audience pay attention to a presentation if they start to lose interest, but depending on the sound it can make them even more less attentive so picking the right sound for each slide is important.

Power Point Tutorial
With this tutorial a person can learn the basics of how to use power point. Like for example knowing how to apply formatting and effects to a text and a picture in a slide. To format text, highlight any text that's desired and click on the font tab in which the font and color of the font can be changed under the formatting palette. This is very useful when doin a presentation to a group of people cause even though pictures and a background maybe in the slide as well to make the presentation more appealing, regular font may disappear depending on the background that's used so changing the color of the font will help a lot as to trying to convey the information.
Mr. Sparkle Logo
This is a real life logo project in which to make for a new start up company. This logo project tests the extent of a persons imagination ability in terms of creating and making the created logo in Illustrator and using the techniques learned. The logo an individual created for this start up company was 3, the first one being a hand in a sponge glove wiping a window clean with suds dripping from it. With this the individual used the gradient tool for most of the logo and some tracing of the lines. The second logo the individual made was half of a person with a hat on cleaning a window with a hand sponge viewing the person from the back. Again the individual used the gradient tool, but only for the sponge and the window for the person however the individual used only solid colors as well as a new tool called flare to make the shining reflection of the sun against the window. And the last logo the individual did was of a window and a bucket with some spilled water and suds. And again the gradient tool was used for the window and water with suds while soild colors were used for the bucket, also the flare tool was used to make the shine on the window.
Excel Project
In this excel project the learner will know how to turn basic information in the cells into a graph. Once the desired information is put in each cell, highlight them then click chart wizard then choose the chart type and sub-type. Once that is done, it is then possible to type the charts name as well as the categories on the x and y axis'. After all that is finished, the graph should be completed, but if the graph isnt how its desired to look like for example all the months arent showing, just double click the alignment tab and set the angle for the text to appear. And depending on the graph that was chosen like a line graph for example it is also possible to change the thickness of the line.
Color and Painting Tutorial II
After learning how to create colors in the swatches panel, it is then possible to edit those colors by double clicking the color and changing the percentage value of either one of the CMYK's or RGB's. It is also possible to create a color library by choosing the swatch library in the swatches panel, and after that's done choose color books and one of the fixed libraries like Pantone solid coated for example. Click one of the colors that looks desirable to add it to the swatches panel, and also by using the color picker which works just like editin the colors in the swatches except you can change the color by either changing the percentage value or sliding the color spectrum vertically up or down.
Color and Painting Tutorial
This was an assignment from a book called classroom in a book. The point of the assignment was to follow directions and create color as well as know the difference between the color modes like CMYK (which stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) and RGB (which stands for Red, Green, and Blue). When creating color, it will be done on the color panel using either the CMYK sliders or the RGB sliders and after getting the color that's desired, click the swatches panel and choose the new swatch from the swatches panel. By doin this it will add the color that was just created to the swatches panel as a new color.
Excel Tutorial II
In the second part of the excel tutorial there is a feature called ledger sheets in which pre-made template sheets can be used. For example by clicking the sheets tab under the elements gallery there are different ledger sheets to choose from like accounts, budgets, invoices, lists, etc. If choose the budgets ledger, and clicking and cell in it like under received and typing the month august and the date 7 it will turn into the number form of the date like 8/7/10. Another feature in the ledger sheets is the category column heading in which you can choose which to view like entertainment, bonus, food, and health.
Excel Tutorials
An excel tutorial was recently done and even though it was very tedious it was informative as well cause it teaches the basics as well as a little more in terms of features and options. For example to format certain cells to a different color by clickin format, conditional formatting, then define the condition like greater than and ok. And after that's done, the cells that was chosen will show any cell that is the greatest in it as being highlighted. Another feature of excel is the auto fill function that will finish the row of cells so typing the rest wont be necessary. For example if typed the word January, place the pointer on the lower corner of the cell and drag it up or down til reached the desired point and stop, and after that's done it will show the rest of the months or dates if typed in dates.
Adobe Illustrator IV
A recent project that was finished entitled color replication uses the eyedropper tool but it also goes in depth more with using the full effect of Adobe Illustrator in terms of color. There are more tools that are greatly effective then the eyedropper tool to make something appear real like the gradient tool, which can be used to make a fade of a color or colors if the colors fade from one to another like yellow to blue. The gradient tool is one of those tools that will be used a lot when dealing with color although there will be times when other tools are suited better for the task.
Adobe Illustrator III
As workin farther with Adobe Illustrator there will be a point when color is needed for a project. And when workin with color there are basic things that will be easy to get, like for example when tracing something the fill function will be on and whatever is traced will also be filled with a color unless the fill option is disabled. There is a eyedropper tool that will allow you to change the color if the current color being used is not acceptable, like for example if the color being used is black using the eyedropper tool to change the color to white by clickin on a white spot anywhere in the area of the screen.

Adobi Illustrator II
Working with Adobi Illustrator has become a bit more easier with making lines as well as circles. And with a recent project entitled Less Is More when an object was taken, and then traced to show all its details in one art board. Then in the art board next to it, it was then blown up even more to show a closer look at the object and traced even more detailed in the object. And in the third and final art board the object was blown up even more to where you could tell it was part of a whole of an object after taken off the picture and nothin is left but the trace that was done on top of the object. This project can become very time consuming based on the object you picked like a car engine for example if you are just starting to learn to use Adobi Illustrator, but if you are already used to using it then you wont have a problem with it.
Resume
There are a couple of ways to make a resume, but the ones that are gonna be talked about here are the one with mircosoft word and the other is with google templates. When working with microsoft word which maybe the only thing you will most likily use anyway, they have preset templates already made and all you have to do is fill in the blanks with your information. But if you have a google account by any chance they have resume templates that are very specific to whoever you are trying to attract. For example if your a college student or a high school student trying to get a job, they have specific templates that say student resume and they'll give you everything you would have to write all you eould have to do is fill in the blanks
Travel Brochure
Making a travel brochure with microsoft word is mostly easy but there are certain parts in the brochure that are difficult to do. Getting started is the easy part, all you have to do is turn the paper from portait to landscape then set up the margins to 0.5 from top to bottom and left and right. And after you do that you start writing your information about the brochure your tryin to make, and once you get everything straight you can put color in the background behind the letters to make the brochure appeal to whoever your trying to convince to go or buy based off the imformation you provided.
